Lauren Cutting
I believe it is my responsibility to ensure that our campus is an environment in which the student voice is heard. In this position, it is imperative to address student needs and recognize our diverse student assemblies. My goal is to foster existing relationships with these student groups and create an atmosphere in which open communication and support is facilitated, leading to a safer, more unified campus community.

I am dedicated to:

Facilitating Effective Campus Communication:
  • Be pro-active; reach out to RSO's and identify their concerns while actively ensuring their needs are addressed
  • Improve relations between The Daily and ASUW, aiming to keep students informed about our university

Increasing Campus Safety:
  • Work with the RHSA and Greek communities to raise campus safety awareness and address student concerns
  • Collaborate with university police to implement means that will result in a safer university community

Equal Representation and Recognizing our Diversity:
  • Work with the Vice President and Director of Diversity Efforts to fill senate and volunteer positions with qualified students representing different demographics
  • Foster the appreciation of our campus's diversity by facilitating collaboration among student groups
