Drew Blincow
My belief is that immediate action is the only way to accomplish goals, and I intend on carrying active momentum throughout next year.

Goals:
  • Create a well publicized universal calendar which shows the events and programs put on by every RSO and student group.
  • Lobby administration for a diversity education requirement into the UW curriculum.
  • Aid and empower commissions through constant and open communication.
  • Advocate for a more accessible ECC.
  • Confront the problems on our campus and in our community, such as racism, sexism, ageism, ableism, and homophobia through educational forums, programs, events and conversation.

Beliefs:
Diversity comes in many forms, and we are incredibly privileged to attend a university that holds a unique and varied student body. We all have a unique experience of the world, and that uniqueness is our gift. At times these differences serve to divide us. However, this doesn't have to be protocol. Even with our differences, we are all students of the UW, where we have the opportunity to be educated by one another. To me, knowledge of human experience and how it's distinct and unique for every individual is the most valuable kind of knowledge.
