PLATFORM STATEMENT
I believe the University of Washington should be where everyone feels welcome and excited to be here, no matter the season. As your next ASUW president, I want to bring a lot more happiness and life, especially during the winter quarter, when things feel terrible and dreary through many events and creative campus activities, and better student connections to make UW a more supportive community every single month of the year. My focus is on making the University of Washington more fun, and inclusive, and making sure people feel like they belong.
Suppose it’s having big social events, making campus traditions a lot bigger, or making it easier for UW students to connect. In that case, I am committed to helping our university experience a lot more fun and dynamic. I also want to collaborate with organizations, increase school spirit on game days and other events, and create a space where everyone feels comfortable enough to be themselves. By making UW students thrive not just academically but socially too. If I am elected, I will focus on transparency, collaboration, and equity. I am about creating environments where all individuals feel heard and empowered to participate. My life experiences have shown me the value of teamwork, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving.
