As Director of Community Relations, I will advocate for the needs of our campus communities within ASUW and work to empower students to connect with each other and the university through relevant dialogue concerning the betterment of on and off campus living experiences. As a current Panhellenic Vice President, I actively work with campus faculty to lobby for the interests of the Greek community and collaborate with the current Director of Community Relations to ensure member accessibility to ASUW entities.

Action Items:

  • Collaborate with the Division of Student Life and stakeholders of the North of 45th Committee to resolve significant issues concerning safety for students living off campus
  • Partner with ASUW entities to streamline student accessibility to Student Senate resolutions related to the campus community
  • Expand communication with the Office of First Year Programs to ensure the needs of commuter and transfer students are continually met beyond their usage of the CTC
  • Facilitate quarterly open forums with the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and WSAAC to ensure advocacy for cultural Greek organizations and student athletes
  • Co-sponsor community building events for RCSA, IFC, and Panhellenic student groups to unite on and off campus communities
