  • As your ASUW Director of Diversity Efforts, I plan to streamline opportunities to minorities and underrepresented groups by working closely with associations such as the DREAM project and PIPELINE to increase college retention and resource availability.
  • I would like to increase outreach efforts within the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity to help individuals on campus learn about offered resources. Also, I will work with the leadership of the OMAD to compile job and internship opportunities for minorities to have after graduation.
  • I will work directly with the ASUW+ diversity commissions to ensure that they, and the many registered student organizations that they are serving, have access to the necessary resources needed to promote their goals. This involves getting a larger representation of minority groups in ASUW Student Senate.
  • I will work with the Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council to help increase diversity chairs and to compile resources to help them promote inclusion and representation within their chapters.

I would like to reach out to underprivileged high schools and teen groups in the greater Seattle Area to show them how they can find their place at the University of Washington by connecting them to representative RSOs.
