Ballot Measure
Ballot Measures are a specific issue or policy directly voted on by ASUW members. There are 3 classifications of ballot measures that can be found in the ASUW Bylaws (Article XV, Section 6): Amendment, Initiative, & Referendum. Students may officially advocate for proposed ballot measures. At most, two pro and con statements each can be included in the Voters’ Guide, with the Judicial Committee finding a statement if the other side is not represented.
Question:
“Do you approve the proposed 2026 ASUW Constitution, which amends minor elements of the existing Constitution to standardize language, improve readability, strengthen transparency and accountability, codify accessibility rules, clarify checks and balances on the Board of Directors, and modernize outdated powers of the Board?”
